Raw Material Selection: The Foundation of Excellence
Good raw materials are the foundation of everything. We have to choose more reliable raw materials suppliers.

Core Substrate: Premium Steel Substrate
Although steel substrates often look the same, the internal quality varies significantly due to different production processes.
Ordinary mills typically use simple rolling equipment. This leaves “internal stress” in the metal, which can cause the tiles to warp or spring back after stamping. Also, their unstable cooling leads to uneven “spangle” sizes, creating inconsistent surface tension that increases the risk of stone chips peeling later on.
We adopt steel from Top mills because they use multi-stand continuous rolling. This technology fully releases internal stress and controls thickness deviation to around ±0.01mm, ensuring precise tile shapes without deformation. Their uniform surface treatment also guarantees a stable foundation for stone coating.

Galvalume coating: 30 Years no rusting
Galvalume is an advanced alloy coating optimized from traditional galvanizing technology. It perfectly combines the physical barrier protection of aluminum with the electrochemical sacrificial protection of zinc. In identical environments, its corrosion resistance is typically 3 to 6 times that of standard galvanized steel.
The coating thickness directly determines the steel’s service life—the thicker the coating, the longer the protection. In industry standards, “AZ + value” is used to denote the total double-sided coating weight per square meter (e.g., AZ150 represents 150g/m²).
We offer a flexible range of coating thickness options tailored to meet diverse environmental demands. Whether for general indoor use or severe outdoor conditions, we can provide the precise specification that balances performance with cost-efficiency for your specific project.The current coating technology can reach the thickness of 150g/m2, which can effectively protect the steel plate surface from rusting for 30 years in general environment.
Al-Zn-Mg Coating: Cutting side protection
We utilize Galvalume steel as our standard substrate, while also supporting customization with Aluminum-Zinc-Magnesium steel.
Al-Zn-Mg (Aluminum-Zinc-Magnesium) coating is the cutting-edge upgrade to standard Galvalume. By introducing Magnesium into the alloy, it creates a unique “self-healing” mechanism.
When the steel is cut or scratched, the coating chemically reacts to form a dense protective barrier that seals the exposed edges, effectively stopping red rust. This technology offers superior durability—providing up to 10-20 times the corrosion resistance of ordinary galvanized steel—making it the ultimate choice for coastal areas and harsh environments.

Fingerprint Resistant technology
Finger-proofing technology, also known as finger-penetrating technology, is a protective surface that is free from perspiration liquid rot while being used in foreign clothing, and has a large number of green and transparent colors, as well as a fixed color scheme.
The difference in the quality of the city’s top defense guidelines is huge. If the amount of material decreases, the amount of material will decrease to an average of 0.3-0.4μm. This usually leads to an uneven expansion of the layer and creates a space (concave), so the steel base material is easily damaged during the processing process.
We also supply domestic goods and commercially purchased raw materials, ensuring sufficient material use. Due to the precision nailing technology, we have achieved an average layer thickness of 1-1.2μm, which is 3 to 4 times the market average horizontally. The thickness of the protective layer is usually 0.3-0.4μm on the market. This kind of uniformity, high quality and high volume layer provides solid protection layer, and the base material is effectively protected from damage during production and logistics process.
High temperature sintered colored stone: 15-30 Years no fading
In the composition of stone coated metal roof tiles, the stone granule layer determines not only the aesthetic texture but also acts as a protective shield for the underlying metal sheet and adhesive. Currently, the market is divided into three distinct quality tiers.
1. Core Substrate: Basalt
Regardless of the quality grade, high-quality sintered granules must use Basalt as the raw material base.
- Function: Basalt is a volcanic rock known for its high hardness and wear resistance. Its naturally porous surface creates a strong “Mechanical Interlocking” effect with the basecoat adhesive, which is the physical foundation for preventinggranule loss.
Market Issues: Low-end products often substitute basalt with river sand, calcium powder, or slag. These materials lack hardness (crush easily) or adhesion (fall off easily).
2. Quality Tiers (Market Hierarchy)
- Tier 1: High-Temp Ceramic Sintered (Top Grade)
Process: Sintered at >800°C. Pigments are glazed onto the stone (like ceramic).
Lifespan: 30-50 Years. No fading, acid/alkali resistant, self-cleaning.
- Tier 2: Standard Sintered (Mainstream)
Process: Sintered at 300-600°C.
Lifespan: 15-20 Years. Color remains stable in normal environments. Cost-effective.
- Tier 3: Dyed Sand (Low-End / Fake)
Process: Cold painted with organic dye and glue. No sintering.
Lifespan: 1-2 Years. Rapidly fades to grey/white and peels off.

Basecoat & Overglaze: 30+ years without aging, yellowing
The adhesive system is often referred to as the “Invisible Lifeline” of stone coated metal roof tiles. It directly determines whether the granules will remain intact and how durable the roof will be over time. The core material for both layers is Water-based Acrylic Resin.
1. Basecoat – The Strong Anchor
- Position: Located between the Galvalume steel sheet and the stone granules.Function: It acts as the foundational bond, responsible for locking the granules firmly onto the metal plate.
- Key Technical Metrics:
- Adhesion Strength: It must be extremely high to prevent granule loss.
- Flexibility: The tile undergoes bending and cutting during installation; the adhesive layer must be elastic enough not to crack when bent.
- Corrosion Protection: It serves as the second line of defense, isolating the metal from oxygen and moisture.
- Quality Indicator: Solid Content. High-quality basecoat has a high solid content, resulting in a thick adhesive film after drying. Inferior basecoat is often diluted with water, resulting in a film too thin to hold the sand.
2. Overglaze – The Protective Shield

- Key Technical Metrics:
- UV Resistance: Since it faces direct sunlight, it must resist yellowing.
- Self-Cleaning: High-quality overglaze creates a dense surface where dust cannot easily adhere, allowing rain to wash the roof clean.
- Abrasion Resistance: Protects the tile from scratches during transport and installation.
3. Market Reality: Pure Acrylic vs. Styrene-Acrylic
This is the critical factor determining cost and lifespan:
- Pure Acrylic Resin:
- Characteristics: Extremely stable chemical bonds, free of benzene rings.
- Performance: 30+ years without aging, yellowing, or becoming brittle. Ideal for extreme climates (Middle East, Africa, Russia).
- Styrene-Acrylic Emulsion:
- Characteristics: Styrene is added to the acrylic to cut costs and increase initial hardness.
- Performance: After 2-3 years, UV rays break down the benzene structure. The glue turns yellow, becomes brittle, and powders, causing massive granule loss.
Over the past decade or so of production experience, we’ve encountered many pitfalls in our choice of adhesives. To ensure finished product quality and meet the demands of tile installation in extreme environments, we only use pure acrylic resin adhesives, and exclusively from reputable manufacturers within the industry.
Raw Material Selection: Strictly Controling Of The Production Process
Without strict production process control, even the best raw materials will not give full play to their optimal performance.
Fully automatic cutting
A fully automatic cutting machine is used to cut aluminum-zinc steel coils into suitable tile sizes. The cut surface is smooth and burr-free, and the smoothness of the cut surface is crucial. The smoother the cut surface, the less likely it is to rust.
Fully automatic tile press
The demand for the liquid cartridge system ensures the completeness and beauty of the appliance. The demand for the manufacturing process is reduced by the mechanical force and speed.

Coating & Sanding
An automatic spray gun evenly sprays a specially formulated high-viscosity acrylic resin primer onto the tile surface.The wet film thickness must be strictly controlled within a certain range.
Electrostatically treated colored sand is evenly applied to the base coat using a waterfall-style sand spreading machine.Apply another layer of transparent pure acrylic adhesive to the surface of the sand layer.
The function of spraying surface glue is to further consolidate the firmness of stone bonding, isolate the stone from the outside air, and ensure that as little water as possible seeps into the ground glue layer when it rains.
Segmented baking and curing
The tiles are inserted into a 40 meter long tunnel oven.It employs a segmented temperature control technology of “low-temperature preheating – high-temperature cross-linking – gradient cooling”. The temperature in the constant temperature zone is maintained within a specific range.Ensure sufficient baking time
The correct temperature and time can ensure the optimal bonding performance and the weatherability of tiles in later use.
QC & Packaging
- Boiling Test: Take a small sample and boil it in boiling water for 2-4 hours. Check if it peels, turns white, or has large areas of sand falling off.
- Bending Test: Bend the tile at a 90-degree angle and check if the coating cracks at the bend. High-quality products should be free of cracks.
Ensure there is no discoloration or sand shedding before packing into boxes.
